Sie gehen in Reykjavik an Bord, der nördlichsten Hauptstadt der Welt, gelegen auf dem 64. Breitengrad.

Die Le Bellot fährt weiter in Richtung Kanada und legt in Anse-aux-Meadows an, einer archäologischen Wikinger-Fundstätte aus dem 11. Jahrhundert im Norden der Provinz Neufundland und Labrador, die zum UNESCO-Welterbe zählt.
Dann läuft Ihr Schiff in den Sankt-Lorenz-Strom ein, eine großartige Wasserstraße, umgeben von einer Natur von außergewöhnlicher Schönheit.

Born in Quebec, Alain Choquette dreams of becoming a famous magician from his earliest age. Specialised in “close-up magic”, he handles card tricks with skill and bases his shows on a close collaboration with his audience. With humour and poetry, Alain Choquette offers another approach to magic while collaborating with renowned artists like the famous magician David Copperfield.
In his early stages, Alain presented his close-up magic tricks to the most popular talk show in Quebec television "Ad Lib". Starting from 1993, he multiplied performances in Quebec and in the United States. His first show “Première apparition” was a great success in Montreal with 200 performances within two years.
This dazzling celebrity brought him then to the American stages. He was invited to participate in the TV special "World's Greatest Magic" broadcast by NBC and watched by over 26 million viewers, and then to join the American tour 50th anniversary of the prestigious Radio City Music Hall in New York.
In 2003, he presented “Alain Choquette et compagnie” at the Casino of Montreal, and mystified Montrealers with “La Disparition des Douze” in which he removed 12 randomly selected people within the public. This trick gave him a worldwide reputation.
Alain Choquette crossed the Atlantic in 2013 to seduce the French audience through his participation at the Comedy Magic Show of Arturo Brachetti. He came back to France in late 2014, and since then has been presenting his new show “Drôlement magique” across the country.

Augpilatok, ist ein kleines Inuit-Dorf mit ungefähr einhundert Einwohnern, dessen Name auf Grönländisch „Seeanemone“ bedeutet. Es liegt in einer Gebirgsregion und ist über die Straße nicht zugänglich. Die malerischen bunten Häuser erstrecken sich von der Südspitze Grönlands bis zu den spektakulären Ufern des Prins Christian Sund. Mit einer Länge von über einhundert Kilometern verbindet letzterer die Labradorsee mit der Irmingersee. Gesäumt ist er von wunderschönen Landschaften mit majestätischen Gletschern, schroffen Gipfeln und Felsen, über die sich das Schmelzwasser des Inlandsis in die Tiefe stürzt. In dieser bis ins 19. Jahrhundert unbewohnten Region wurde das Dorf in den 1920er-Jahren gegründet, die meisten Einwohner bestreiten ihren Lebensunterhalt mit der Jagd, dem Fischfang und der Zucht.

Depart the pier for the short 10-minute drive aboard a local school bus for the Norse site discovered in 1960 by Norwegian explorer Helge Ingstad. L'Anse aux Meadows is notable for its possible connection with Leif Erikson, and with the Norse exploration of North America. The site was declared a UNESCO World Heritage in 1978 and is the first authenticated Norse settlement in North America.
Visit the Parks Canada interpretive centre (exhibits and site videos) and then follow the site trails to the archaeological dig sites before visiting the recreated longhouse to discover what life was like at this Norse trading post in 1000 AD.
A short drive from the UNESCO site brings you to Norstead, a recreated Norse Village. See the replica of the Viking Knarr 'Snorri', a boat that sailed from Greenland to Newfoundland and named for the first European child born in North America. Learn to throw an axe, spin yarn or take a pottery lesson reviewing ancient methods.
Following your tour of the village, re-board the bus for the return drive to the pier.

Hiking Saguenay National Park
With more than 110 km (70 miles) of hiking trails in magnificent landscape, the Saguenay Fjord National Park is a great area to discover on foot. From the pier, a 1-hour drive will take you to the National Park, where you will begin your 2.5 km (1 ½ mile) walk along the 'Point de Vue du Soupir' trail.
Experience the disproportionate scale of time and space in a land where nature has made use of its colossal forces to carve out a fjord. The hike culminates halfway at the statue of Our Lady of Saguenay, where you will have remarkable views of the fjord and surrounding mountains, rivers and valleys. Your floatplane adventure:
Pierside you will be met by your pilot and board a 6-passenger Beaver seaplane. Your journey takes you over the lovely villages of St. Fulgence where the Saguenay River becomes a fjord, then over Ste-Rose-du-Nord. Fly over the gorgeous capes Trinity and Eternity, and the Ah Ah Bay and enjoy great views of your ship. In autumn, Canada’s scenery is enhanced by the brilliant red and orange colour of fall foliage, making this excursion a most memorable experience.

Viking experience
Depart the pier for the short 10-minute drive aboard a local school bus for the Norse site discovered in 1960 by Norwegian explorer Helge Ingstad. L'Anse aux Meadows is notable for its possible connection with Leif Erikson, and with the Norse exploration of North America. The site was declared a UNESCO World Heritage in 1978 and is the first authenticated Norse settlement in North America.
Visit the Parks Canada interpretive centre (exhibits and site videos) and then follow the site trails to the archaeological dig sites before visiting the recreated longhouse to discover what life was like at this Norse trading post in 1000 AD.
A short drive from the UNESCO site brings you to Norstead, a recreated Norse Village. See the replica of the Viking Knarr 'Snorri', a boat that sailed from Greenland to Newfoundland and named for the first European child born in North America. Learn to throw an axe, spin yarn or take a pottery lesson reviewing ancient methods.
Following your tour of the village, re-board the bus for the return drive to the pier.

Hiking Saguenay National Park
With more than 110 km (70 miles) of hiking trails in magnificent landscape, the Saguenay Fjord National Park is a great area to discover on foot. From the pier, a 1-hour drive will take you to the National Park, where you will begin your 2.5 km (1 ½ mile) walk along the 'Point de Vue du Soupir' trail.
Experience the disproportionate scale of time and space in a land where nature has made use of its colossal forces to carve out a fjord. The hike culminates halfway at the statue of Our Lady of Saguenay, where you will have remarkable views of the fjord and surrounding mountains, rivers and valleys. After disembarkation procedures are completed, you will be greeted at the port by our local English-speaking representative.
You will depart the port by coach and start a guided tour of Toronto.
First, you will visit the theatre district with its many playhouses featuring Broadway style shows as well as more serious works of dramatic art by Molière or Shakespeare or Brecht. Continue with the visit of the financial district which is considered to be the heart of Canada’s financial community and is the location of the Stock Market and the Headquarters of all Canada’s National banks. Toronto is the world’s most multicultural city with over 92 different languages spoken each day as citizens go about their daily lives. Ethnic areas we will visit include the original Chinatown (the Chinese community have long since moved to the north of the city), Greektown, Cabbagetown and the St. Lawrence Market.
Continue with a guided tour of the Distillery District. The Distillery District was the site of the famous Scottish distillers called “Gooderham and Worts”. For many years these industrial buildings were alive with an army of distillers who took the grain arriving from ships in the port of Toronto (where your ship arrived) and carried it in bulk by horse and cart across to the Distillery District. Nowadays the entire industrial complex has been repurposed and is one of Toronto’s main attractions for both citizens living in the city and for visitors from overseas. Enjoy some free time as each building is alive with artisans, restaurants, coffee shops and craft stores and music is often played by local talented artists.

NIAGARA FALLS VISIT FROM TORONTO (1 NIGHT)

Day 1 – Toronto/Niagara Falls/Toronto
After disembarkation procedures are completed, you will be greeted at the port by our local representative.
Depart on your tour of the two Niagara’s (about 2 hours drive). Niagara-on-the-Lake and Niagara Falls featured prominently in the “War of 1812” as the young American republic to the south made a bid to invade the British Colony of Upper Canada and include all of North America in their growing country. This bid failed and a series of running battles and skirmishes took place at many locations between Niagara-on-the-Lake and Niagara Falls.
Our route today starts out along the beautiful Niagara Parkway which runs along a more peaceful border between the United States and Canada. You will pass by the substantial Niagara Generating station which supplies electricity for this entire region, the Floral clock, and many grape growing communities and their family “Vignobles” situated along this fertile corridor.
To fully understand the power of Niagara Falls, you will participate in the attraction “Journey behind the falls”. You will first need to descend 125 feet and explore the 130-yearold tunnels running throughout this bedrock. As you transit the passages you will feel the thunderous vibration of the Horseshoe Falls well before you see them. The observation deck at the foot of this 13-storeytall wonder is an unforgettable sight (and you might become a little bit wet), but we urge you to spend time looking the viewing portals cut straight through the rock, offering a once-in-a-lifetime view of one-fifth of the world’s fresh water crashing down in front of you.
After lunch served at a local restaurant, you will reach Toronto.
